Skip has been giving out grants for 4 years donating a portion of it's revenue back to entrepreneurs and small business owners. Skip lists all of these grants on the Skip Dashboard and App.
In March 2024, Skip launched it's "Instant Grants" giving out grants live on YouTube. While these grants continue to evolve, in short:
Entrepreneurs must enter PRIOR to the live drawing into the grant. Skip Instant Grants are listed on the Skip App when they go live, typically once or twice per week.
Entrepreneurs who enter must attend the YouTube live. If there entry number and name is called, they must comment they're here.
Recently to streamline validation, users who've applied for these instant grants will see an Entry and PIN number on their Skip App. If you're entry number is called you'll often need to enter your PIN number in the YouTube comments for verification.
Sometimes other methods of verification or winner selection will be chosen. Ultimately it is up to Skip to have the final say on how the $1k Instant Grant Winners are selected.
How Do I See My Skip Instant Grant Entry and Pin Number?
You can only see this on the Skip App after you've applied for a Skip Instant Grant.
You'll see this on the tracked funding. This will either by on your explore page OR on the My Funding tab under Past Fundings.
